16-year-old raped while at a park with a friend in Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy
According to authorities, a 16-year-old girl was reportedly raped on June 27 in Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy neighborhood. Three individuals arrived while the victim and a companion were seated in a park, took turns raping her, and then left the area.
An official said, “On receiving the complaint, the police registered a FIR and arrested the three accused,” adding that the police are also keeping an eye on her buddy. Police are also attempting to determine if the victim was familiar with the guys charged.
The event occurs a month after the notorious Shahbad Dairy murder, in which a man fatally beat and repeatedly stabbed a 16-year-old girl.
A CCTV camera captured the terrible murder that occurred on May 28. The video showed the guy stabbing the girl at least 20 times while dozens of others walked by, but no one stepped in to help her. The authorities said that she had 34 wounds on her body and a fractured head.
