As Eemis becomes operational, job seekers are no longer need to visit employment exchanges for registration, according to the Himachal Chief Minister

According to the state’s new online registration system, job seekers in Himachal Pradesh won’t need to physically visit employment exchanges to register, according to the state’s chief minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

According to Sukhu, the Department of Labour and Employment has created a brand-new programme called eEMIS (Employment Exchange Management Information System) that is completely functional and allows candidates to register online without any cost consequences.

He said in a statement that “the practise of physically visiting employment exchanges for over 50 years is now being replaced with a more practical online registration system.”

Anyone may sign up through the Lok Mitra Kendra or online without physically going to the job exchange. According to the statement, the individual may register, submit all required documentation, and get registration verification information online.

Individuals had to attend the job exchanges with their original papers in the past, even after registering online. According to the statement, the state administration has made measures to use technology since it has seen its potential to make the process simpler.

By lessening the stress of travel and financial expenditures, the implementation of paperless registration would greatly assist adolescents, particularly those living in distant locations, it was underlined.

According to the chief minister, job searchers, especially young people, are anticipated to be significantly impacted by the use of paperless registration in employment exchanges.

The state government hopes to promote diversity, lower obstacles to work, and assist those who live in remote locations by using technology, he said.
