Azad went back to J-K to put an end to the people’s series

Ghulam Nabi Azad, the leader of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), said on Wednesday that he had returned to Jammu and Kashmir in order to put an end to the suffering of the populace and develop the Union Territory’s economy into one of the strongest in the nation.

Former chief minister Azad founded DPAP in Jammu a month after abandoning his five-decade affiliation with the Congress on August 26 of last year.

“A vision is necessary for the leadership, and I carry that for my people. And for that reason, I renounced national politics and went back to serve my people,” Azad remarked while delivering a speech at a number of open forums in his birthplace of Bhaderwah in the Doda area.

He said that the main reason he was coming back was to put a stop to people’s suffering and elevate J&K’s economy to national prominence.

“Given the challenging and diverse physical topography, the bulk of Jammu and Kashmir’s economic potential remains untapped, and the majority of its areas are undiscovered. The local youngsters will have a ton of employment to choose from if only Doda’s resources and potential are used and developed, he said.

He said that Bhaderwah is referred to as “mini Kashmir” and that it “will emerge as an epicenter of economic activities if elected to power.”

Azad spoke with gatherings of the general population in Pranu, Khelani, and Bhaderwah during his 10-day visit in the Chenab Valley area.

Numerous individuals opted to support the DPAP’s pro-people program after joining the party, according to a party official.

Azad said that after Kashmir, Bhaderwah is the location of choice for Bollywood to make movies.

He maintained that all he accomplished as chief minister and as a Union minister was reflected on the ground and accused succeeding administrations of disregarding the area.

People are well aware of their rights and have rejected traditional politics. Time is over when they were taken advantage of over trivial matters, he said, adding that “people desire change and all hope is placed in DPAP, which promotes talent, hard work, and honesty in its operations.
