Before PM Modi visits Rewari, Manohar Lal Khattar assesses the state of the arrangements

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive to Majra-Bhalkhi hamlet on Friday to lay the foundation stone of the much-anticipated AIIMS project. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar visited the location today to assess the progress of the preparations for the PM’s visit.

In addition to extensive security measures, visitor-only parking spaces have been established on the Rewari, Bawal, and Narnaul-Mahendragarh routes.

Prior to the Lok Sabha elections in February 2019, Prime Minister Modi launched the AIIMS project.

The foundation stone had not yet been put, despite the fact that the state government had previously purchased almost 200 acres of land at a cost of Rs 40 lakh per acre from the people living in the villages of Majra and Bhalkhi. They had also released a tender for the project’s design, engineering, procurement, and construction.

In addition, PM Modi will virtually launch the railway line from Rohtak to Meham to Han Si and set the groundwork for other development initiatives.

A foundation stone ceremony for the projects, which PM Modi will lay tomorrow, will be held in conjunction with an exhibition detailing the advancements in the state over the last nine and a half years, complete with a model display and information.

Roadway buses from Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Nuh, and Gurugram were reportedly scheduled to transport the locals to the event. “Live coverage of the inauguration and foundation stone laying event will be available on large LED screens in 75 assembly segments throughout 18 state districts. The relevant districts’ administrative authorities have been instructed to make suitable preparations for the same. At the district levels, ministers, members of parliament, and legislators will take part as main guests and honor recipients of different programs, according to sources.
