Chief of the APCC Sharmila objects to PM Modi’s “YSRC & Congress same” statement

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks that the YSRC and the Congress are the same and are led by members of the same family drew harsh criticism from APCC chairman YS Sharmila.

Soon after the NDA’s public meeting, she wrote on X, depicting the BJP as a ringmaster who is forcing TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to perform in their cages.

“After ignoring the State for ten years, the BJP is now blaming the Congress and me for problems.” For five years, the BJP traveled informally with Jagan and ignored all that was going on. Additionally, it has benefited YSRC indirectly. In a disgraceful way, the YSRC has dutifully backed every BJP law. It merely aimed to destroy it by encouraging the YSRC government to borrow,” she said.

“YSRC and the BJP are close buddies. The BJP, TDP, and YSRC rejected the promises made by the Congress. Now they were blaming Congress in an attempt to cover up their incompetence. Do they fear the Congress? Sharmila asked.
