Congress will start the ‘UP Jodo Yatra’ on December 20 in anticipation of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024

Following Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s “Bharat Jodo Yatra,” which took place from Kanyakumari to Srinagar, the party is preparing for the “UP Jodo Yatra,” which is scheduled to begin on December

Saharanpur, in Uttar Pradesh, will be the starting point of the “UP Jodo Yatra,” which will end at Sitapur.

It is anticipated to encompass 16 parliamentary seats and will be led by state party chairman Ajay Rai.

Significant duties have been assigned to a number of Congress leaders, including Zafar Ali Naqvi, Salman Khurshid, Ajay Lallu, Brijlal Khabri, and Nirmal Khatri.

This occurs while the nation is preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The Congress’s hopes for 2024 have been severely damaged by the election results in four states, particularly the defeats in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, which have left the party out of power in a major portion of the Hindi heartland.

Earlier in the month, the Congress leadership convened to evaluate the dismal results of the just finished assembly votes.

Nonetheless, the venerable party won 64 seats to seal its triumph in Telangana, a state with 119 assembly members.
