Delhi-NCR Waterlogging Due To Heavy Rains; IMD Issues Yellow Alert

On Wednesday morning, Delhi, along with parts of Noida and Ghaziabad, had heavy rain. It has led to waterlogging on a number of city roadways, which has impacted traffic since visibility was also poor during the storms.

Heavy rains were also seen in certain areas of Ghaziabad and Noida this morning.

Some regions of Delhi NCR had moderate rainfall yesterday. According to reports, the Hindon River’s water level has increased, flooding some homes and roadways in Greater Noida.

Due to rain and waterlogging, the Gautam Buddh Nagar district government announced that all schools in Noida and Greater Noida, up to and including class 12, would be closed on Wednesday.

District Inspector of Schools Dharmveer Singh allegedly said that District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has ordered the closure of all schools up to Class 12 for today due to rain and waterlogging.
