Excellent Medical Facilities Were Brought To Villages And Towns By Rajasthan Government Schemes: Gehlot, CM

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, said on Wednesday that the state’s medical model is well-liked throughout the nation and that great medical services are now accessible in villages and cities as a result of the efficient execution of the state’s health initiatives. Additionally, he said that the state government put all of its effort and consideration into building a solid health infrastructure.

Rajasthan has developed into a model state in India for the health industry, according to a statement by Gehlot. Additionally, he asked the country’s leader, Narendra Modi, to put in place medical programs like to those administered by the government of Rajasthan.

 

Gehlot lay the cornerstone for 32 projects, totaling Rs 887 crore, including three nursing college buildings and initiatives connected to medical institutions. 36 projects totaling Rs 379 crore were launched by the chief minister. Additionally, Gehlot unveiled six mobile cancer detection vans that cost Rs 7.15 crore to construct.

 

Gehlot urged the prime minister to embrace the Rajasthan model of healthcare, claiming that doing so would enable the provision of equitable medical services to everyone. The Rajasthan model should be researched in addition to seeking advice from seasoned medical professionals in the region.

 

Gehlot gave the go-ahead to begin the construction works in a timely way and said that Sawai Mansingh Hospital is building India’s highest indoor patient department (IPD) tower with 1,200 beds at a cost of Rs 538 crore.

 

The number of MBBS seats has grown from 1,850 to 3,830 since 2018, when the Congress administration took office. Additionally, the number of postgraduate places has grown from 960 to 1,690. According to Gehlot, the government added 1,560 seats in four years by opening 26 new nursing institutions.

 

He continued by saying that the state government has now chosen to build medical institutions in the districts of Rajsamand, Jalore, and Pratapgarh. Parsadi Lal Meena, minister of medicine and health, said that the state is achieving unparalleled success in the health field.
