Gangster detained in Jammu under a PSA

The Public Safety Act (PSA) in this place led to the arrest of notorious criminal Vikramjeet Singh, also known as “Vicky,” according to police on Sunday. A police spokeswoman said that Vikramjeet Singh had many arrest warrants out for him and that 15 FIRs had been filed against him at different police stations.

According to the spokesperson, the wanted criminal’s PSA warrant was fulfilled by a Gangyal Police Station crew, who then booked him into jail. He said, “His incarceration represents another step in enhancing the law and order in Jammu district.” In the meanwhile, the spokespeople said that more than 75 suspects were apprehended on Saturday during searches at many drug hotspots in the Jammu area as part of “Operation Cleanup.”
