In northwest Delhi, man fatally stabs wife; arrested

New Delhi: A 27-year-old lady was fatally stabbed on Saturday in Bharat Nagar, northwest Delhi, purportedly by her husband as a result of a marital argument. Jahangirpuri resident Suspect Javed attempted to escape but was apprehended by members of the public and turned over to police, according to a police official.

After considerable investigation, it was discovered that Afsana and Javed were married around six years ago, and that since January, because of some disagreements, Afsana and their two children had been living at her father’s house.

According to the police, the lady was returning from the market when the guy assaulted her with a kitchen knife. tnn
