Jammu & Kashmir: Five people were detained in different events carrying weapons

Jammu and Kashmir: According to the police, on Friday, December 8, five people were detained in different events in Jammu and Kashmir carrying guns. Hardcore criminal Vivek Singh was taken into custody Friday night by a police force during a raid in the Samba district’s Ramgarh region. From his possession, the authorities seized a 12-bore gun and a handgun manufactured in the nation. They claimed that a complaint was filed at the Vijaypur police station under the Arms Act against him.
Singh and three other people were taken into custody earlier in 2018 concerning a case involving abduction and attempted murder, according to the police.

In the second incident, the cricket pitch at Sum Toph, in the Phallian Mandal region, was the site of reports to the police that some individuals were receiving royalties from the mining mafia. When a police squad arrived, they detained four individuals, who were named Abhishek Singh, Ravi Singh, Harbax Singh, and Sachin Singh, according to authorities.

During the search, an edged weapon was found on the accused.

They indicated that they had a case lodged against them under the Arms Act.

The occurrences are being looked into further.
