Managing Camels’ Reins to Perform Bike Tricks, March Past, and All-Women Contingents to Enhance Republic Day Experience

“My unit is stationed in Punjab, close to the Indo-Pak border. Drones from Pakistan that are carrying narcotics and tiny weapons are regularly brought down by me using my rifle and my policeman Renu of the Border Security Force (BSF) boasts during the Republic Day march drills.

BSF’s Ambika Rathore may be seen skillfully managing her camel’s reins a short distance away. She remarks, “These camels take us through sand dunes on the border.” Camelbacks carry us to locations that are inaccessible to automobiles when we do special patrols.

These are the experiences and tales from which the all-female contingents of India’s paramilitary and defense forces will demonstrate their might on January 26 at Kartavya Path.

At Kartavya Path, there will be all-women contingents from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), BSF, and Delhi Police. Only females will play in their brass bands. Two all-women marching contingents will be part of the defense forces: the Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Services and tri-service women personnel. Sixty troops from the Indian Army and the remaining members of the Air Force and Navy comprise the 144-member tri-service force.

During the Indian Air Force’s March contingent, female Agniveer Vayu warriors will demonstrate their abilities.

“I’m glad to sport the blues. glad to march in unison. “Happy to be a part of Republic Day 2024,” the IAF said on the social media network “X.” The Nari Shakti motif forms the foundation of the Indian Navy tableaux.

There will be 148 people in each marching contingent, and 72 ladies will perform patriotic songs and melodies in the bands. Just before to the IAF putting on the air display, women troops from the BSF, CRPF, and SSB will do a daring stunt aboard 350 CC Royal Enfield Bullets.

The Ministry of Defence made the decision last year to include a demonstration of Nari Shakti in the Republic Day festivities in 2024. Women made their debut in the R-Day parade last year as part of the BSF’s camel contingent. “Last year, twelve of us were granted this honor. However, 21 of us will go with the camel contingent this time, Priyanka Rithala said News18. “In our region (Rajasthan), women manage the ghoonghat with the same neatness as they handle the camel. We want to spread that message across the globe,” she said.
