MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, virtually opens the dental college and hospital at Pudukottai

On Wednesday, Chief Minister MK Stalin used a video conference from Chennai to officially open the Government Dental College and Hospital in Pudukkottai.

After the Government Cuddalore Dental College in Chidambaram and the Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital in Chennai, this is the third state-run dental college hospital in the state.

According to a press release from the Tamil Nadu government, the Dental College and Hospital in Pudukottai was built at a cost of Rs 67.83 crore on 10.14 acres of land. It includes residential quarters, administrative buildings, and facilities for academic activity.

The government has given the dentistry college and hospital with state-of-the-art equipment worth Rs 5.10 crore. Furthermore, the university has established 148 roles for teaching, non-teaching, and administration.

The Dental Council of India has given the college permission to accept 50 students each year for the BDS programme.
