PM Modi: This Election Is To Punish Those Who Oppose the Constitution

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing assault on the opposition group INDIA on Tuesday, claiming that the goal of this election is to punish anyone who disagrees with the Indian Constitution and the Central government’s attempts to transform the nation into a “Viksit Bharat.”

Additionally, he said that the leaders of the opposition, including the RJD and the Congress, were using the Constitution for political purposes.

The PM said, “This election is only to punish ‘Ghamandia’ (arrogant) alliance leaders,” while addressing an electoral rally in the Gaya region of Bihar. Its purpose is to penalize individuals who oppose the Center’s efforts to transform India into a “Viksit Bharat,” or developed India, and who are against the Constitution. Jitan Ram Manjhi, the founder of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and former chief minister of Bihar, is running as an NDA candidate from Gaya.

“To mistreat me, the Congress and its allies are using falsehoods in the name of the Constitution. Since the NDA upholds the Constitution…Not even Babasaheb Ambedkar can make this difference.I am the Prime Minister because of the Constitution that Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Babasaheb gave us. “My family is not wealthy,” he said.

The opposition leaders, according to the prime minister, are “against the celebration of Constitution Day.”

The opposition leaders are using the Constitution for political purposes. The Constitution is a question of “aastha” to us. This time, the people of the nation have chosen to award the NDA with more than 400 seats, he remarked.

Additionally, the PM said that the Congress had missed its chance to turn India into a “developed India,” or “Samridh Bharat.”

“Only in the guise of social justice did the Congress and RJD engage in political theater. Over the last ten years, the nation has seen a revolution and seen the general advancement of women. One and a half of the ten crore women who joined self-help groups nationwide are from Bihar, according to the prime minister.

“We will take India’s heritage to the world, which will benefit Gaya,” he stated, adding that “virasaat (heritage) and vikas are both on the NDA’s agenda.”

“They (opposition leaders) call Santana dharma ‘dengue and malaria,'” the PM said. They are undeserving of even one seat. They need to be disciplined. Additionally, Modi said that the RJD represents “corruption and goonda raj.”

“The only two things that the RJD has brought to Bihar are corruption and jungle raj.During the RJD leadership, corruption grew like a booming business. The RJD will never get the support of Bihar’s young. Can a lantern with the RJD’S sign be used to charge smartphones? He stated.

A strict security protocol was put in place in Gaya ahead of the PM’s arrival.

In the Purnea Lok Sabha seat, the PM is also expected to speak at another rally.

The PM said in a post on X before to his rallies that “The land of Bihar, the mother of democracy, has resolved to give the BJP-NDA an unprecedented victory in this Lok Sabha election.” I will get the chance to be here with my family in Bihar today once again. At the public gatherings in Gaya and Purnea, I shall be showered with the affection and blessings of the people.

The BJP is running in 17 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, the JD(U) in 16, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) of Chirag Paswan in 5, and the HAM and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) in one each as part of the seat-sharing agreement in the NDA.
