Relax election regulations and let the televised heavenly wedding at Bhadradri

In a letter sent to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Monday for the third time, Endowments Minister Konda Surekha requested that the Election Commission permit the telecasting of Lord Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy’s heavenly wedding in Bhadrachalam on April 17, the day of Sri Ramanavami.

The Minister requested in writing that the election rules be loosened so that people may see the Kalyanam. She said that the show has been shown live for the last forty years. In the letter, she went into detail about the temple’s notoriety and background. On April 17 and April 18, respectively, Lord Sita Ramachandra Swamy’s heavenly wedding will take place at Pattabhishekam.

Hanumantha Rao, the Endowments Commissioner, said that preparations were being taken to guarantee that there would be no disturbance to the devotees since a significant number of people are expected to go to Bhadrachalam to watch the ceremony of Sita Ramachandra Swami. The plans for Sita Ramachandra Swamy’s Kalyan Mahotsavam festivities in Bhadrachalam were examined on Monday at the Mithila Stadium.
