Students promise to vote and to motivate others

According to Ajay Kumar, the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Rohtak, the district government is organizing awareness campaigns to guarantee that every voter in the district casts a ballot.

“By emphasizing the value of voting, we are encouraging every voter to exercise their right to vote and strengthening our democracy,” he said.

Educational institutions are also hosting voter awareness programs. A vow was made by the students of All-India Jat Heroes Memorial College to vote and encourage others to do the same.

Students in other college disciplines were also given voting oaths to take. The students swore to uphold the honor of our nation’s democratic traditions and to exercise their right to vote without fear.

Under the auspices of the Electoral Literacy Club, Vaish College hosted a slogan-writing contest with two themes: “My First Vote for the Country” and “Festival of Elections – Pride of the Country.”

In all, eighteen students from various faculties took part in the tournament.
