The government uses the ‘Hera Pheri’ meme to alert devotees to the Ram Mandir VIP Entry Scam

What Is the Scam at Ayodhya Ram Mandir?
Numerous individuals have reported receiving phony WhatsApp messages offering complimentary VIP credentials to the event. It is recommended that the recipients download the APK file that is attached to the message, even if it can be malicious and damage the phone.

Cyber Dost, the Government of India’s cybersecurity account, published a well-known Bollywood meme to inform the public and caution followers of the misleading WhatsApp scam. Actors Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal are featured in the ‘Hera Pheri ‘-themed meme, which cautions people against clicking on dubious links and not sending money to unapproved websites.

Cyber Dost posted on X, a platform that was previously known as Twitter, saying, “”Beware of current internet frauds: Fraudsters may persuade you for Fake passes of VIP Entry about “Pran Pratishtha Event” of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Avoid making any transactions with an unfamiliar phone or website and don’t click on any dubious links.” The tweet also tags a few government accounts.

Only those with legitimate invites or those on official employment will be allowed entry to the shrine today. The Ram Mandir’s “pran pratishtha” is set to begin at 12:20 pm and is anticipated to end by 1 pm. After that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to a crowd of more than 7,000 people at the location, including celebrities and seers.

The temple trust has sent invitations to almost 7,000 individuals to attend the ceremonial inauguration. This includes Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor; cricket players Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and MS Dhoni.

Several states have designated a half-day or holiday for government agencies, boards, and companies in honor of the consecration event. Public ‘darshan’ hours at the Ayodhya Ram temple will begin on January 23. With permission supplied by the trust, devotees may visit the aarti at two times: from 2 PM to 7 PM and from 7 AM to 11.30 AM.
