There are no injuries when a four-story shop in Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar bazaar catches fire

NEW DELHI: According to authorities, a four-story store in the Gandhi Nagar market in Delhi caught fire on Tuesday night.

After being informed of the occurrence, the fire services department sent fire engines right away to extinguish the flames.
The fire’s origin is still a mystery.
Gandhi Nagar BJP MLA Anil Bajpai voiced concern about the lack of a local fire station.

It is regrettable that Gandhi Nagar has not had a fire station since 1960. I have brought up the matter in the Assembly and have had three meetings with Delhi Fire Officer Atul Garg. On an adjacent plot of undeveloped land, a fire station dedicated to the citizens of Gandhi Nagar will be built. In order to pursue this subject, I met with the Lieutenant Governor. The file is being processed,” said Bajpai.
“Once the beautification of Gandhi Nagar market is done, there will be a pole outside every street that will have a fire brigade pipeline,” he said.
According to Bajpai, the incident did not result in any injuries because of the quick response of the police and fire department officials.
“It is thought that millions of rupees might have been lost in the fire. By now the sub-divisional magistrate, or SDM, ought to have paid the location a visit. However, he did not appear “he continued.
