There will be 28 cybercrime police stations in Punjab

According to DGP Gaurav Yadav, who spoke here on Friday, the government plans to open 28 new cybercrime police stations across 28 police districts, including three commissionerates.

CM Bhagwant Mann, according to Yadav, approved the plan to establish cybercrime police stations. He said, “These stations will function as specialized centers for looking into and prosecuting offenses related to the internet, such as identity theft, hacking, online scams, online financial fraud, and cyberbullying.”

He claimed that the stations would be manned by highly skilled individuals with specialized training in digital forensics and criminal investigation, and they would be outfitted with cutting edge equipment.
