Three are detained with $10 cr worth of heroin

Three members of a four-person drug smuggling ring have been apprehended by the Bhikhiwind police, and two kilograms of heroin have been found in their hands. On the foreign market, the confiscated consignment is believed to be worth Rs 10 crore.

Ajay and Ashish, two of the accused who live in Khemkaran, were taken into custody on Friday, according to SSP Ashwani Kapur at a news conference held here on Saturday.

Sajan, their third associate, was taken into custody on Saturday. Nevertheless, Balveer Singh, also known as Baljinder Singh, is the fourth gang member who is still at large, and the police are raiding his hiding places. Under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the police have filed a complaint.
