“Very Well-liked, I’ll Be Re-Elected In 2024”: US Congressman Shows Off His Admiration For PM Modi

Calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a popular leader, a US congressman voiced confidence in his re-election in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. “People love Prime Minister Modi very much. I was simply passing by. I had lunch with Prime Minister Modi and a few other legislators, and it was evident how well-liked he is despite political differences. Someone who, in my opinion, is around 70% popular. Georgia Republican Congressman Rich McCormick told PTI that “he is going to be prime minister again.”

The world economy and its strategic relationships would be impacted by his progressive ideas on development, the economy, and the Indian diaspora worldwide. “His progressive views on development, the economy, and kindness toward all people, as well as his application and encouragement of the Indian diaspora globally, will have an impact on the global economy and their strategic alliances. I anticipate his impact being quite beneficial,” he said.

He continued by saying that India’s GDP is expanding by four to eight percent a year under PM Modi’s leadership. “If you look at their current readiness to cooperate with other countries, I would say—and here’s where I insert a disclaimer—that sometimes there is some protectionism, which many personalities engage in. They have somewhat imitated some of China’s actions. As companies want to enter India’s growing market, they’ll have enormous clout in the future, according to McCormick.

McCormick said that whilst criticizing China and its actions, the US views India as a critical strategic and tactical ally. “With India, we have a very valuable strategic and tactical ally against autocratic nations like China who adhere to Marxist doctrine. It is imperative that we cultivate a relationship based on genuine trust and that we never lose sight of India’s honesty. They’re attempting to share our technology, not steal them,” McCormick said.
