With the opening of 16 airport projects, PM Narendra Modi will lead UP with five

An important turning point in India’s aviation industry is expected to be reached when Prime Minister Narendra Modi opens 16 airport developments.

Having stated that, on March 10, PM Modi will essentially open airports from Azamgarh, demonstrating his dedication to extensive growth and connectivity,.

With the opening of five new airports, Uttar Pradesh is expected to see significant growth, demonstrating the government’s dedication to encouraging regional development. The list of initiated projects also includes ceremonies for laying the foundation stones of future developments.

PM Modi is scheduled to launch new terminal buildings and completely new airport facilities at Pune, Gwalior, Lucknow, Delhi (T1), Kolhapur, Jabalpur, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Moradabad, Shravasti, Adampur, Varanasi, and Belgavi, among other places. In the meantime, Hubbali and Kadapa’s future airports will have their foundation stones laid.

The Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, is keeping a careful eye on these development projects’ advancement. While the other projects will be officially launched digitally, the prime minister is anticipated to personally attend the inauguration event in one of the Uttar Pradesh districts.

It is projected that by the end of 2024, two significant projects—Noida Airport and Navi Mumbai Airport—will be open to the public. Over Rs. 12,000 crores have been invested in total in these 16 airports.

Gwalior is notable among the completed developments since it will house one of Madhya Pradesh’s biggest ports. There will be the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Aviation Minister Scindia at Gwalior, where the airport has received investments worth around Rs. 500 crore.
