Birthday greeting from Ravindra Jadeja provides a critical hint about Dhoni’s IPL future
Fans of MS Dhoni are betting that one of the greatest captains in cricket history may play again in the IPL in 2024. Dhoni turned 42 on July 7 and received birthday wishes from all over social media.
In the meanwhile, Dhoni received a Twitter wish from Ravindra Jadeja, a close friend and colleague of the Chennai Super Kings.
Jadeja’s birthday message has gained attention since it provided a significant hint about Dhoni’s IPL future.
In his letter, Jadeja promised to “see you soon in yellow.”
With this, the supporters can be certain that Dhoni would continue to wear the yellow jersey of the Chennai Super Kings in the next campaign.
Dhoni made a 2020 international cricket retirement announcement. He continues to play for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League despite this, however. He guided Chennai to the IPL championship twice (including the 2023 season) after quitting from international cricket.
Fans speculated that Dhoni, Ravindra, and Jadeja Kar may both retire from cricket after Chennai won the IPL this season. However, Jadeja’s tweet suggested that he will join MS Dhoni in the IPL in 2024.
