“Happy New Year, I’ve Just Landed in Cape Town”: India’s Stars Arrive for Second Test Against South Africa

For their second and last Test match of the South African tour, the Indian cricket team has landed in Cape Town. After losing the first Test match last week in Centurion by an innings margin, the visitors are hoping to win the next two matches.

The BCCI released a brief video of bowler Mohammed Siraj wishing the Indian players a happy new year as they arrived at the Cape Town airport.

“I just got to Cape Town. I hope you have an amazing New Year. Have fun in 2024. In the video, Siraj stated, “See you on January 3rd,” as the Indian players were leaving the airport for the team hotel.

India will play the second Test on January 3 in an attempt to tie the series 1-1 and then go home.
