In a magnificent performance, Dhanush scored 249.4 in the 24-shot final to put silver-winning Swede Pontus Kallin 1.3 points behind. Romain Aufrere, a Frenchman, won bronze. Harmehar Lally and Sanjana Sood overcame their Swedish rivals David Jonsson and Felicia Ros to win India a bronze in the Skeet Mixed Team competition.
With three gold, one silver, and two bronze medals, India has now surpassed the USA, who have so far won two gold and one silver. The women’s 10m Air Rifle final is also planned for the afternoon.

The junior men’s 10m Air Rifle final included three Indian competitors. Pratham Bhadana finished ahead of Dhanush in fifth place with a score of 628.7, while Dhanush qualified sixth with a score of 628.4. With a score of 626.7, Abhinav Shaw, who on Sunday won the Air Rifle Mixed Team gold, also took the eighth and final position.

Pratham lost out on a medal with a fourth-place finish, while Abhinav retired in seventh. But in the championship game, Dhanush was in a different league. He took the lead right on and never let any of his rivals have a chance.
In the Skeet Mixed Team competition, there were two Indian teams. With a combined score of 134, Ritu Raj Bundela and Raiza Dhillon placed seventh in qualifying. The second pair, Harmehar Lally and Sanjana Sood, finished in fourth place with a combined effort of 136 out of 150 targets, qualifying them for the bronze-medal match.

The Swedish team of David Jonsson and Felicia Ros, who came in third with a score of 137, will be their opponent there. The competition for the bronze medal was fierce, and after 48 targets per team, both teams were deadlocked at 37 each, forcing a shoot-off. Sanjana took full advantage of Felicia missing one of her doubles in the shoot-off while both of the men hit their initial targets, earning a well-deserved bronze.
