Cong names Allahabad in-charges

Prayagraj: Former MLA Bhagwati Chaudhary, former MLA Anugrah Narayan Singh, and UPCC general secretary Mukund Tiwari are the three senior party officials who have been selected by Congress general secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Avinash Pandey to oversee the Allahabad parliamentary seat. The three leaders have been instructed to work along with leaders of the INDIA bloc, such as the Samajwadi Party and others, and to start canvassing and running for the parliamentary seat in Allahabad.

According to party spokesperson Haseeb Ahmad, the party high command has already received the suggestion from the top brass of the Congress and Samajwadi parties to host a combined rally, and the dates will be decided upon shortly. The party has designated coordinators and in-charges in 60 mandals, 14 blocks, and 130 nyay panchayats in the Phulpur parliamentary seat.

In the midst of resignations around candidate selection, Shukla spoke about leadership concerns inside the Chandigarh Congress. In response to the BJP’s criticism, Tewari questioned their Chandigarh record and emphasized Article 142’s intervention by the Supreme Court.

Citing personal reasons, Harpal Singh Kamboj leaves the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) in Ambala. With the backing of his team and supporters, Kamboj held a press conference to announce his transition from INLD to JJP.

For Kannauj, Tej Pratap Yadav was selected over Akhilesh. He has continuously backed SP, even in the midst of Rampur’s unrest. The youngest politician from the Yadav family, Tej Pratap, wants to return Kannauj to the SP.
