Exams for Class 12 Practicals will be held by UPMSP on March 13 and 14 for absentees

Regarding the Class 12 practical examinations that were conducted on February 16 of this year, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released significant news. Candidates who were not able to make it to the first tests will have another chance to take them. The remaining applicants are set to take their practical tests on March 13 and 14, 2024.

“On February 16, 2024, an examination was held for applicants who were unable to pass the intermediate practical tests of that year. The official announcement said, “Some candidates were still unable to appear in the practical examination based on information received from certain districts.”

A test for these candidates was scheduled for February 16, according to the official announcement. However, the state board was informed that some students in certain districts were still unable to take the exam, therefore, these students are now being given another chance.

The Uttar Pradesh Board conducted two stages of practical tests in accordance with the timetable for the academic year 2023–2024. The first phase ran from January 25 until February 9. Nonetheless, the board has chosen to give students who were absent from their examinations one more chance to take part.

From January 25 to February 1, this year, schools in a number of districts, including Agra, Basti, Bareilly, Chitrakoot, Devipatan, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi, Faizabad, and Azamgarh, conducted the Class 12 practical examinations.

In the meantime, the intermediate (Class 12) practical examinations were given in schools located in the districts of Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Meerut, and Moradabad from February 2 to February 9, 2024.

The UP Board 2024 Class 10 and 12 examinations are now in progress. It started on February 22 and runs until March 9. The morning shift for these exams runs from 8:30 am to 11:45 am, while the afternoon shift runs from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Over 55 lakh kids enrolled for the UP board exams this year, including 25 lakh applicants for Class 12 and 29 lakh candidates for high school (Class 10) exams.

Additionally, according to the UP Board, UPMSP will start reviewing Class 10 and Class 12 answer papers on March 16 and finish in 13 working days, or on March 31. There will be a Holi holiday from March 24 to 26.
