UP Congress President Rai says, “Muslim Voters Will Support Us in Lok Sabha Elections”

Ajay Rai, the head of the Uttar Pradesh Congress, said on Sunday that Muslim voters would back the party in the next Lok Sabha elections.

After visiting the Haji Waris Ali Shah shrine in Dewa in the Barabanki district, Rai spoke to media and said, “The Congress party has always been the well-wishers of Muslims.” The nation’s Muslims are aware of this. I’m sure Muslims will vote for the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections.

“The country’s Muslims will stand with the Congress party with a full majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” he said.

When asked whether the Samajwadi Party (SP) will continue to be a member of the INDIA bloc, Rai said, “They are welcome to move forward together if that is their desire.”

Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, has voiced his dissatisfaction at not receiving a single seat in Madhya Pradesh under the INDIA coalition. Later on, however, he added that he wouldn’t let his coalition partners down.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not doing the poor any favors by giving them free rations because he takes the ration from the public and returns it to them. As the elections draw near, the dates for free ration distribution are getting extended, but the public is aware of everything, Rai said, criticizing the BJP government.
