Video: A law student is viciously attacked and hooliganism is seen on video outside Amity University in Noida

Noida: On social media on Saturday, a video showing three guys attacking and pulling a different young man out of a parked vehicle on the side of the road went viral. The assault happened on March 21 in Sector 125, Noida, close to Amity University, according to police records. Three people were seen assaulting Bhavya Sehgal, a student, when she was sitting in the driver’s seat of a Toyota Fortuner in the widely shared video. According to reports, the event happened at the Noida Sector 126 police station area, near to Amity University’s Gate No. 5.

A formal complaint was filed! The attack’s motivation has not yet been stated
A gang of guys can be seen violently removing a man from a Toyota Fortuner with jet black window tinting in the viral footage. They then continue to keep the victim down on the road while kicking and punching him repeatedly. The man’s shoes get loose during the assault and are left strewn all over the pavement. Later in the video, a lady gets out of the Fortuner and picks up the man’s shoes. After that, she puts the shoes inside the vehicle while the guy gets up and starts to slowly recover his composure after the attack.

The reason for the attack on the individual who was taken out of the automobile was still unknown. Law enforcement officials then got in touch with the victim. The claims that they learned about the incident via a video that was making the rounds on social media. Through tracing the license plate, they were able to identify the car. An official confirmed the registration by mentioning that the car’s license plate was registered in Delhi.

The victim is a Chandigarh-based third-year law student. Official
Assistant Commissioner of Police-1 (Noida), Praveen Singh, said, “The victim is a third-year law student at a private university in Sector 125, Noida, and is currently in Chandigarh.”

According to assistant commissioner of police-1 (Noida) Praveen Singh, “police traced the owner of the vehicle shown in the video, however, taking cognizance of the viral video,” as reported by the Hindustan Times.
