Volunteers give out clothing

Prayagraj: In honour of Holi, Kapda Bank volunteers gave out almost 2,000 pairs of garments to labourers in the Pratapgarh district’s Chatabtor Teuga hamlet. After arriving at the area, the volunteers—led by Alok Kumar Singh, the head of Kapda Bank and a primary school teacher—gave out 2,000 pairs of garments to 200 women, children, and old people.

Singh said to TOI, “The Pratapgarh-based Kapda Bank volunteers organise clothing drives for those in need who are unable to buy it.

In addition, the volunteers encourage parents to take their children to neighbouring schools by giving books and other stationery to the offspring of labourers.
