WFI Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is accused of sexual assault, will speak at a BJP rally in Uttar Pradesh

Brij Bhushan Singh, the president of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and a BJP member of the Lok Sabha, will speak at a party event on June 11 in the Kaiserganj neighbourhood of Uttar Pradesh.

When wrestlers are protesting Singh at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, Singh will speak at a rally in his district. They claim Singh harassed female wrestlers, including a youngster, in a sexual manner.

According to a report in The Indian Express, the gathering is being held as part of the BJP’s Mahasampark Abhiyan for the 2024 elections.

Singh has earlier indicated that his June 5 Jan Chetna Maharally in Ayodhya will be postponed.

In addition, he said that the Supreme Court had issued “serious directions.”
