Is Everyone in Kerala Dancing To Backstreet Boys Single In “Lungi” a 10/10?

Popular song dances have become more and more popular on social media, receiving a lot of positive feedback from viewers. You may find plenty of entertaining videos on social media with dancers and choreographers doing amazing hook movements to well-known songs. A quartet of guys gained notoriety recently for their distinctive renditions of popular songs while donning mundus (lungis). The trio became well-known via D 4 Dance, a Malayalam dance reality show. They most recently chose to perform the hit Backstreet Boys song Everybody from 1997.

The quartet, which consists of dancers Jeev, Vijeesh Vichu, Rakesh Rakku, and Taajju Rajil, has gained worldwide recognition for its ability to fuse mainstream music’s universal appeal with Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. The dancing group was spotted performing Taajju Rajil-choreographed dances while decked out in violet mundus, white blouses, and flip-flops. With the remark, “In the world of ordinary, we are the extraordinary Manavalans: where uniqueness is woven into every fabric,” the video was shared on their Instagram page. This video, huh? Just one more paintbrush stroke on our unique painting.

Since it was released, the video has received over 7 million views, and the routine has astounded online users. “Never released; we needed this,” one person commented, while another said, “These lungi boys are my new Instagram obsession.”

Many admirers of the concert said, “This really cheered me up after a long time. Great guys.” I loved every minute of it. They were also referred to as “Indian backstreet boys” by others.

“Excellent choreography…creative and funny,” one user said in praise of the act, while another was taken aback by the faces. People even said, “Ayo somebody tag backstreet boys; this is lit,” and begged the band to take attention of the dancers.

The dancing trio added their own special touch to a combination of Michael Jackson songs they performed a while ago. The ensemble can also be seen performing in this video, decked up with green slippers, shirts, and mundus. Their dances have a specific charm that sets them apart from the regular dance routines because of this unique attribute.
