Snake Enters Ground Specially During Lanka Premier League Match

Animals would often rush directly onto the field during a cricket match, shattering all barriers, causing the ground workers to attempt to drive them away. Videos of similar instances can be found all over the internet, from cats and dogs stealing the show to a swarm of insects interrupting the game.

Similar circumstances occurred in Sri Lanka when a snake intruded into the cricket field. The event happened during a match in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), and the internet is now trending with videos of the snake writhing on the pitch.

The trending video was posted on the ‘LPL – Lanka Premier League”s official X account (formerly Twitter). “Hello, stranger,” read the caption on the video. Where is your badge of recognition? Wildlife in Sri Lanka is unable to withstand the activity at the LPL. The match was called off shortly after the snake was discovered on the ground. The snake is also seen being followed by ground workers in the footage before it ultimately emerges through the earth.

Since being posted on July 31, the video has already had 125.5K views. The internet community had a lot to say in the comment area. While some called attention to the security lapse, others treated the situation casually.

A user said, “Very beautifully they have portrayed a security lapse..” Another user on the internet said, “This one non-venomous.” “Ha ha ha! A snake chose to enter the file after a few sporadic entries from dogs and cats. It is completely risky for everyone. The arrangements appear suspect,” a third user added.

Someone who was admiring the reptile said, “Oooh she is a beaut!” A fifth said, “It’s just here to enjoy the game.” A sixth claimed, “I believe snake was the 12th player on the batting side; he sent a secret message and advice from the captain to the batter on the crease.
