Recently, pupils at Gandaki Boarding School in Nepal surprised their cherished teacher, Sujan sir, with a heartfelt prank that has gone viral on social media and won over millions of hearts.
In the Instagram video, a teacher is seen rushing into the classroom after hearing rumors of a fight. To his surprise, he finds out that the kids had set up the incident as a birthday joke. As the class erupts in a chorus of Happy Birthday, the instructor can be seen grinning as the film comes to an end. The pupils are also seen giving him hugs in abundance and a bouquet.
The video’s heartfelt description is, “Dear Sujan sir, Happiest Birthday Sujan sir!” We appreciate your friendship, your constant willingness to go above and beyond for us, and the way you make us feel like a huge, crazy family. You have taught us so much more than any textbook could ever hope to teach us. The video went viral three days after it was uploaded, garnering over 34 million views, 2.7 million likes, and a barrage of comments from fans of the endearing surprise.
Instagram fans showered Sujan sir and educators worldwide with expressions of respect and gratitude in the comments area.
