Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan and Jahnvi Kapoor, welcomes Akshay Oberoi
Akshay Oberoi, star of “Fighter,” has joined the cast of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s next film, Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari.
The romantic comedy, which also stars Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, was written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, the director of “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” and “Badrinath Ki Dulhania.”
Oberoi, who is now appearing in “The Broken News'” second season, said that “Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari” offers him an incredible acting chance.
“It’s really exciting to work with such talented co-stars as Varun, Janhvi, and Sanya.” I can’t wait for people to appreciate the wit and romanticism we’re bringing to the big screen. The actor said in a statement that “this movie is going to be a memorable one.”
“Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari,” supported by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production, is slated to premiere in theaters on April 25, 2025.
Dhawan and Kapoor, who most recently collaborated on Nitesh Tiwari’s romantic drama “Bawaal,” will rejoin in the film.
