Bookings for the Toyota Rumion CNG Have Temporarily Stopped; Here’s Why

Since Toyota introduced the Rumion, a rebadged version of Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga, the MPV has, for some reason, garnered a resoundingly positive reaction from consumers. The business made the decision to temporarily halt the booking after seeing a favorable reaction from the clients and an overbooked advance order for the CNG variation.

If reports are to be believed, the brand allegedly intends to finish the current order. Toyota has not yet made public the precise amount of reservations made for the CNG MPV. Apparently, the business will be accepting reservations again shortly. Though, when? The query has still not been resolved.

Price Of Toyota Rumion

The CNG-powered Rumion, which is brimming with features, has just been released on the Indian market for a starting price of Rs. 10.29 Lakh (ex-showroom). Six trim levels of the car were available: AT, S MT, V MT, G MT, S MT CNG, and V AT. Then, it was claimed that delivery will begin for consumers on September 8.

Engine Toyota Rumion

The 1.5L K-Series petrol engine in the seven-seater MPV uses E-CNG technology and is said to provide a respectable 20.51 kilometres per gallon on the fuel variant. While the CNG version guaranteed 26.11 km/kg of mileage. The recently released MPV is available with two different transmissions: a 5-speed MT and a 6-speed AT.

Features of the Toyota Rumion

One of the many cutting-edge technologies included with the Rumion is a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A multi-function steering wheel, dual temperature control, speed warning, parking sensor, seat belt reminder, several airbags, danger lights, engine immobilizer, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and other features are also included.
