The brand-new BMW 740d M Sport has been introduced in India by BMW, adding yet another flagship to the M series lineup there. BMW introduced the i7 M70 XDrive earlier in the day, and now the BMW 740d M Sport. The i7 M70 XDrive will be offered as a CBU unit, whereas the BMW 740d M Sport will be domestically produced in India at BMW’s production facility in Chennai. The starting price (ex-showroom) for the BMW 740d M Sport is Rs. 1.81 crore. Both the 740d M Sport and the i7 M70 XDrive are now on sale at the dealerships.

Design for BMW 740d M Sport
The BMW 740d M Sport has a distinctive lighted kidney grille on the front fascia, Swarovski crystals on the LED DRLs, and BMW Crystal lights for added style. It also has LED headlights. The 740d M Sport’s interior has a Merino leather finish that can be customized in a variety of colors, including Amarone, Tartufo, Mocha, Black, and Smoke White. The car’s external design features side skirts, lighted door sills, black outside mirrors, blue brake callipers, a rear spoiler, and 21-inch alloy wheels that are M-specific.

The M Sport design package, automatic tailgate, comfort access system, soft-close function for the doors, four-zone temperature control, and a 31.3-inch movie screen for passengers in the back seat are features that set the BMW 740d M Sport distinct. The sophisticated touchscreen infotainment system in the 740d M Sport may also be operated with voice commands and hand gestures. Cruise Control, Attention Assistant, Reversing Assistant, and Parking Assistant Professional with remote parking via smartphone are all tools that help drivers.

Engine: BMW 740d M Sport
A 3.0-liter six-cylinder, twin-turbocharged diesel engine with 282 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque powers the 740d M Sport. According to BMW, this engine enables the 740d M Sport to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6 seconds and reach a peak speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
