Everything You Should Know About How the 2024 Renault Kwid Differs From the Previous Model

Renault India’s new revised MY2024 portfolio, which includes the revamped Kwid hatchback, Kiger SUV, and Triber MPV, has set the way for a revitalized driving experience.

The French automaker wants to improve the attractiveness of its products in the Indian market, with a complete redesign of the Kwid hatchback as the main emphasis.

The 2024 Renault Kwid, which is priced between Rs 4.70 lakh and Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), has several improvements on the outside as well as inside the interior.

It’s interesting to note that, according to HT, Renault has not only made several design modifications but has also adjusted the price, bringing the 2024 Renault Kwid’s total cost down for all models.

The new Kwid has significant pricing changes and is offered in seven distinct configurations. For example, the price of the Climber AMT version has decreased from Rs 6.33 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom) prior to the makeover.

Compared to their pre-facelift equivalents, the RXL (O) MT and RXT MT versions are discounted by Rs 21,000 and Rs 17,000, respectively.

The price of the RXT AMT model has also been lowered by Rs 17,000, to Rs 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The basic RXE MT model, meanwhile, continues to retail for Rs 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

When comparing the 2024 Renault Kwid to the pre-facelift model, the variation list has changed. The RXL (O) AMT is a new variety that replaces the RXL MT variant, which was withdrawn.

Surprisingly, the RXL (O) AMT is the least expensive automatic vehicle in India, priced at Rs 5.44 lakh (ex-showroom).

Three new dual-tone paint options—Moonlight Silver with Black, Zanskar Blue with Black, and Fiery Red with Black—are featured on the outside of the redesigned Kwid.

These go well with the current Ice Cool White with Black and Metal Mustard with Black selections. In addition, Ice Cool White, Fiery Red, Outback Bronze, Moonlight Silver, and Zanskar Blue are available as monochromatic color options.

The 2024 Renault Kwid is impressive because to its new features as well as its updated appearance. The most notable feature is the inclusion of an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is accessible starting with the RXL (O) model.

Now available as an option for the top RXT and Climber models, the Kwid is the most reasonably priced vehicle in India to come with a touchscreen infotainment system.

Regarding safety, all versions of the new Kwid hatchback have a rear seat belt reminder as standard equipment.

The entire range now includes additional safety features like front driver and passenger airbags, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, ABS, EBD with brake assist, rear door child lock, pedestrian protection, load limiter front seat belts, driver seat belts with pre-tensioners, electronic stability programs, traction control, and front airbags.
