Honor X50 GT Official Design Unveiled, Major Details Surfaced; January 4 Release Date Set
It is known that the Honor X50 GT will arrive shortly in China. The Honor X50 range, which consists of the Honor X50, Honor X50i, and Honor X50i+, is anticipated to contain the phone. The Honor X40 GT, which made its debut in October 2022, will be replaced by the Honor X50 GT. The smartphone’s design and launch date have now been disclosed by the business. It also hinted at the next phone’s color choices. Meanwhile, some important model specs have surfaced online.
The Honor X50 GT will go on sale in China on January 4 at 7:30 p.m. local time (5 p.m. IST), as Honor CMO Harrison Zhang revealed in a Weibo post. The Honor China website also lists the phone. The handset’s design is disclosed via the listing and the launch ad. Its release in Magic Night Black and Silver Wings Ares (the Chinese name for the color scheme) is confirmed.
Similar to the Honor X50 basic model, the Honor X50 GT image has a big, round-back camera module positioned in the center. A hole-punch display in the center is visible at the top of the panel, accompanied by a curved display. On the right side of the phone are the volume rockers and power button.
The 1/1.67-inch, 108-megapixel main rear camera sensor with an f/1.75 aperture that is seen integrated on the back panel of the Honor X50 GT is verified to be included. A yellow racing stripe spans the center of the rear panel of the phone, which is silver in color.
In the meanwhile, the Honor X50 GT is probably going to have a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, according to a Weibo post from tipster Digital Chat Station. The phone is reportedly coming with MagicOS 7.2, which is based on Android 13.
According to the leak, the Honor X50 GT could ship with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is said to include a 5100mm2 VC cooling unit and a 5,800mAh battery with 35W wired quick charging. As the launch date approaches, more functionality should become available on the internet.
