Interim Dividend of Rs. 7 per share is announced by Hindustan Zinc; record date is provided

Hindustan Zinc announced an interim dividend of Rs 7 per share for the fiscal year 2023–24 on Saturday, July 8. The payment of the interim dividend will begin on July 15, 2023, which has been set as the record date.

In a BSE filing on Saturday, Hindustan Zinc stated: “The board of directors of the company has approved interim dividend of Rs 7 per equity share for the financial year 2023–24 amounting to Rs 2,957.72 crore through resolution passed by circulation on Saturday, July 8, 2023. This represents 350% on face value of Rs 2 per share.

It said that Saturday, July 15, 2023 is the record date for the purposes of the payment of the interim dividend, as previously indicated. “The interim dividend will be paid in accordance with established schedules.”

On Saturday, Hindustan Zinc shares increased by Rs 4.35, or 1.29%, to finish at Rs 340.50 a share on the BSE.
