Motorola Executive Unveils 2024 Smartphone List; New Razr and X-Series Models Are In the Works

The high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU from Qualcomm was unveiled in October, and a number of premium Android phones launched this year have already used the technology. It is anticipated that more phones will employ this chipset in 2024. Although several companies have pledged to use the new technology, Motorola has not yet disclosed its intentions for the launch of a phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The general manager of Lenovo Mobile Business Group, Chen Jin, has now made references to the company’s impending 2024 models.

In a Weibo post, Chen Jin provided details on Motorola’s plans for the following year. A new Razr model appears on the company’s 2024 product list, which is held by Lenovo. It’s official that the next Razr phone will include AI and feature a fresh look. In the next year, Motorola also intends to add big language model capabilities to its flagship X series devices.

Additional goods slated for release in 2024 include smartphones from the new Moto S and Moto G series, which have undergone several upgrades. According to the article, Motorola plans to release its whole product lineup in 2019. Chen Jin asserts that in 2023, the Moto Razr series achieved satisfying growth in China and even internationally. He noted that in response to the two main possibilities and difficulties presented by folding displays and AI giant models in the mobile phone business, the firm was restructuring its product planning and rhythm.

This year, Motorola introduced fewer models for the Chinese and other markets. Earlier this month, the firm unveiled the Moto G34 5G in China, with the Snapdragon 695 SoC. In October, the Motorola Edge 2023 with Dimensity 7030 SoC made its debut. September saw the release of the MediaTek Dimensity 7030-equipped Motorola Edge 40 Neo in the Indian market.
