Nothing Phone 2’s Glyph LED Will Show Order Status for Zomato or Swiggy, Tipster Says

The IT community has been buzzing about Nothing Phone (2) for a long now. And it seems that the commotion won’t die down before its debut. We say this because, according to the most recent update, a trustworthy tipper asserts that Nothing OS 2.0’s Glyph Interface LED would let users to track the status of their Zomato or Swiggy order.

Yogesh Brar claims that “deeper” Glyph Interface integration would be included in the next release. The bottom LED, which shows how the battery is charging, may also be used to show how the owner’s meal delivery order is coming along.

Those LEDs “finally have some use,” the tipper said on Twitter. The functionality would debut with the Phone (2), continues Brar. It is restricted to battery charging indicator in Nothing OS version 1.5. Nothing OS 2.0 will come pre-installed on Phone #2.

CEO of Nothing Carl Pei released an image of a software user interface, which media outlets identified as Nothing OS 2.0, in reference to a previous tweet. By the end of August, he claimed, the Nothing Phone (1) will get the upgrade.

The London-based phone business Glyph Interface and Swedish House Mafia announced in another Glyph Interface update that the future handset would include a unique ringtone Sound Pack.

The business unveiled “Glyph Composer,” which would let smartphone users alter the sounds. Nothing tweeted, “Tap the pads to activate various light and sound combinations and create your own Glyph Ringtone.” According to 91Mobiles, the OS will emphasise smoothness and functional features with aesthetics. The highly anticipated gadget will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip inside for performance.

Speaking of more upgrades, Flipkart’s online store is currently accepting pre-orders for the Phone (2). By paying Rs 2,000, users may reserve a gadget for themselves. On July 11, the smartphone is scheduled to go on sale in India.
