Numerous People Are Willing To Give Elon Musk’s Neuralink Access To Their Brains To Implant Brain Chips

Science fiction films and television series have shown human and machine unions; see Robocop or Terminator. Though it may have appeared like a sci-fi dream come true, Elon Musk’s Neurolink is really searching for a volunteer willing to undergo brain chip implants.

This is Neuralink’s first-ever clinical experiment, and according to Bloomberg/Ashlee Vance, the business is looking for a volunteer who is ready to have a portion of their skull surgically opened so that small cables and a set of electrodes may be inserted into their brain.

Moreover, a robot would do this process in its entirety. The missing portion of the skull will have been replaced, according to the story, with a quarter-sized computer that will likely remain there for years after the robot is done. The volunteer’s brain activity would be analysed by this computer, which would then wirelessly transmit the results to a laptop or tablet.

Despite the fact that this is a relatively novel technique in medicine, thousands of volunteers are still registering to have it done, according to Vance. But the perfect applicant would have to be paralyzed in all four limbs and under 40 years old.

What Is Neuralink Hoping To Get Out Of This Trial?

According to Vance, Neuralink basically wants to use a computer to read a person’s thoughts as orders. This would enable the computer to comprehend the commands and produce a kind of machine-man hybrid.

These people would have the ability to communicate with other brains and upload and download data from storage. Despite the fact that this seems like something from a science fiction film, Neuralink is trying to do just this.
