Oppo will eventually release its new A series with the features it has

The newest smartphone in Oppo’s A-series lineup, the A78 4G, was introduced in Indonesia. His Oppo A78 5G, a 5G smartphone that is presently on sale in India, has several significant differences from his new 4G smartphone.

The Snapdragon 680 SoC powers the brand-new Oppo A78 4G. The phone sports two 50MP back cameras and a selfie camera punch hole in the display. The Oppo A78 4G comes with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM as standard configurations, with the ability to “expand” the RAM to 16GB by utilising unused internal memory. The 5,000mAh battery can be charged quickly with 67W SuperVOOC.

A single variant of the Oppo A78 4G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs IDR 35,99,000 (about Rs 20,000). It is presently available in the colours Black Mist and Sea Green (translated from Indonesian) in Oppo’s online shop there.

The consumer will get his Oppo Enco Buds 2 earbuds in the brand’s white colour for free when buying the Oppo A78 4G. His new Oppo A78 4G has not yet been given a worldwide debut date or a price.

To be clear, the Oppo A78 5G model went on sale in India in January for Rs 18,999.

The 6.43-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED screen on the Dual SIM (Nano) Oppo A78 4G runs ColorOS 13.1 on top of Android 13 and has a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz as well as a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz. The display has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent, a pixel density of 409 ppi, a maximum brightness of 430 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has an Adreno 610 GPU, a Snapdragon 680 SoC, and 8GB of RAM.

As was previously indicated, unused memory up to 16 GB may theoretically extend the RAM that is now accessible. A 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture make up the Oppo A78 4G’s dual rear camera system. A front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and an 8-megapixel resolution is used for video calls and selfies. A storage capacity of 256 GB is provided by this device.

The Oppo A78 4G has WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio connector, and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options. Accelerometers, geomagnetic sensors, gravity sensors, gyroscopes, in-display optical sensors, and proximity sensors are some of the onboard sensors. It features facial recognition and includes a fingerprint sensor for identification.

The Oppo A78 4G comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, just as the Oppo A78 5G does. The battery can be charged with 67W SuperVOOC. The Oppo Reno 8 weighs 180 grammes and has dimensions of 73.23 x 161 x 7.99 mm.
