Royal Enfield plans to invest 3,000 crores after signing an MOU with the Tamil Nadu government

Within the next eight years, the massive two-wheeler company Royal Field plans to spend Rs 3,000 crore in Tamil Nadu. According to information the brand released via an official release, it has already inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a state government, laying the groundwork for future company expansion and the establishment of both brownfield and greenfield projects in the area.

The Memorandum of Understanding was inked at the Global Investors Meet 2024 in Chennai. According to Eicher Motors Limited, the parent company of RE, the investment would go toward expanding capacity and developing new products, such as electric vehicles.

It is anticipated that increased labor and investment in the state would increase the employment rate and provide the people of the state access to 2,000 additional direct and indirect job possibilities.
