Solid cameras and 50W wireless charging have been tipped for the upcoming OnePlus 12; from the launch date to the price, what to expect

On October 19, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus announced the availability of pre-bookings for the OnePlus Open in India. And it seems that the business is now preparing for its next flagship, the OnePlus 12 5G. In the Indian smartphone market, the phone will replace the OnePlus 11. A trustworthy tipper has recently disclosed the device’s charging and camera specifications.

Wireless Charging 50W
Digital Chat Station, a tipster, predicts that the OnePlus 12 smartphone would most likely support 50W wireless charging rates. If accurate, it would represent a much-needed improvement over its forerunner. Almost all popular flagships include wireless charging technology, and it is gradually making its way into the premium mid-range market. Among the choices are the Google Pixel 7a, Motorola Edge 40 Ultra, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Nothing Phone (2).

The OnePlus 12 5G may feature one of the fastest wireless charging rates at 50W in addition to fast charging. Additionally, a USB 3.2 Type-C connector, which might be an improvement above the USB 2.0 standard, would most likely be included with the device. This will provide quicker data transfer and perhaps enhance charging rates.

Expected OnePlus 12 5G specs include a 50MP IMX 966 primary lens.
The smartphone may contain a 50MP Sony IMX966 OIS primary, 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide, and 64MP OmniVision telephoto sensor, according to a Yogesh Brar post on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Price and Release Date Predictions for the OnePlus 12
The phone will reportedly make its worldwide premiere in January after making its Chinese debut in December, according to tipper Max Jambor. The price will probably rise in light of the BOE display panel update and other modifications.

OnePlus 12 5G Specifications
According to reports, the OnePlus 12 may have a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display. It could be powered by an Adreno 750 GPU and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU. Most likely, Android OS 13 will power it. Regarding the battery, the gadget could include a 5,000mAh battery with support for charging at up to 150W.
