The second season of Masters in F&B: A Celebration of Culinary Excellence and Industry Collaboration is hosted by DoubleTree by Hilton Agra

Recently, DoubleTree by Hilton Agra wrapped off its much awaited second season of Masters in F&B, an incredible exhibition of culinary skill and a venue that brought together the top hotels in the city. Nine five-star hotels and prominent hotel management institutions participated in the event, which showcased Agra’s emerging hospitality industry.

The event began with an enthralling cooking class given by 10 young chefs, and it ended with an incredible demonstration of mixology skills by eleven exceptional bartenders.

As the guest of honor, Mr. Bhuvanesh Khanna, CEO of BW Communities at Business World, was a prominent visitor at the event. Mr. Khanna judged the culinary contests with the help of distinguished panelists, who included Mr. Debashish Bhowmik, a well-known hospitality consultant, Ameet Rane, the executive chef of DoubleTree by Hilton Agra, and General Manager Shyam Kumar. Judges Mr. Bhowmik and Mr. Rajiv Saxena, President of the Tourism Guild of Agra, presided over the bartending competition.

Yash Gupta from Clarks Shiraz won the cooking competition, while Pritam Kumari from DoubleTree by Hilton Agra won the bartending division.
The second part of the program was a lively panel discussion led by Vikas Singh, Corporate PR and Placements at Veda Institute of Hotel and Training, on “MICE and Big Weddings: Maximizing Revenue Opportunities and Ensuring Seamless Execution in a Branded Five-Star Environment.” Prominent figures from the business were on the panel, including Samir Jilani, General Manager of ITC Mughal Agra, and Hari Sukumar, Vice President – Operations, Jaypee Palace Hotel & Convention Centre Agra. Shyam Kumar, general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Agra, and Manpreet Chabba, general manager of Tajview, Agra (IHCL).

Mr. Bhuvanesh Khanna expressed his deep enthusiasm, stressing that “Masters in Food & Beverage” is more than just an event; it’s a dynamic catalyst that raises the bar for hospitality and food standards. He emphasized how the diverse food and beverage scene in Agra reflects the everlasting commitment of its growing range of hotel brands. He praised the dynamic General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Agra, Shyam Kumar, for leading this amazing platform that represents innovation and quality in the business.
