This Chat Avatar Features Clubhouse Returning

Clubhouse, which peaked during the pandemic lockdown, saw 10x month-over-month growth before vanishing from the public eye, has recently changed into a new audio messaging app.

With new voice-only group conversations dubbed “Chats,” the firm has reimagined itself “to be more like a messaging app.”

“With a major new version released today and now accessible on iOS and Android, we’re transforming Clubhouse to be more akin to a chat app. It’s intended to be more sociable than other messaging applications and somewhat more Clubhouse-like, according to a blog post published on Wednesday by Clubhouse.

A conversation, according to the business, is a voice-only group conversation with your favorite individuals.

“To visualize a Chat, consider what would happen if your Instagram Stories and group SMS met in a park, spoke for hours, and then became best friends and fell in love. 9 months later, they gave birth to a brand-new method of communication that enables you to hear your friends’ voices, get to know their friends, and type less. That is what it would be if “social messaging” existed, the business said.

With Chats, you may slide inside your friends’ VMs to have private conversations as well as press to speak, listen at two times, touch to skip, and swipe to the next Chat. According to the business, they are intended to be quick, enjoyable, and individual.

Although Clubhouse will still provide live audio rooms, conversations may persuade users to check in more regularly to hear from their friends rather than the person who is currently moderating a live session.
