A viral video of Javed Akhtar losing his cool in the face of rowdy paparazzi and saying “Shor Mat Karo”
The photographers yelling all around Javed Akhtar annoyed him. The well-known songwriter celebrated his birthday on Thursday night by appearing in Mumbai. He proceeded to Anil Kapoor’s home, where a birthday celebration was in progress. Paparazzi posted a video on Instagram showing Javed Akhtar and his wife Shabana Azmi making their way to the birthday celebration location.
Wading through a sea of photographers, Javed was seen wearing his signature kurta-pyjamas. Javed was not defeated by the pandemonium that broke out. He was not afraid to confront the paparazzi. He was seen saying, “Shor mat karo,” to the paparazzi in a video before posing with them. Check out the video below:
The children of Anil and Javed, Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja, and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, joined them. Ashutosh Gowariker, Zoya Akhtar, and Divya Dutta were also present for the celebration.
Javed Akhtar was present at the CNN News18 Indian of the Year celebration only last week. As a member of the prestigious jury at the awards ceremony, Akhtar gave Mani Ratnam the Indian of the Year award in the entertainment category.
Akhtar said, “We were very sure of our technical superiority,” in reference to Mani. We felt like ignorant children because of him. It is very difficult in the film business to maintain success as Mani Ratnam has, according to the seasoned screenwriter who is recognized for penning the screenplays for classic movies like Don, Deewar, and Sholay. “I can give you names of ten directors who have made a number of superhits but nobody remembers them,” he added, adding that it wouldn’t be politically correct. In the movie business, Mani Ratnam’s remarkable work is what makes you successful in addition to mere success.
“Javed saab, I think we need you back writing the screenplay,” Mani Ratnam replied in reply. It will really benefit us. I believe we need Javed saab, particularly in these days when we are just discussing statistics. Mani Ratnam went on to quip that he would direct the next movie whenever Javed Akhtar finished writing the script.
