Abhishek said, “Not Their Business,” in response to the public’s obsession with his and Aishwarya’s family plans

In Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are among the most adored celebrity pairs. Both on and off screen, their fans enjoy their lighthearted banter and undeniable connection. One of the largest celebrities in the world, Aishwarya, wed Abhishek, whose father, Amitabh Bachchan, is also a well-known celebrity. Daughter Aaradhya, who often makes appearances, is well-cared for by the pair. Abhishek Bachchan said in a previous interview that he would be happy to have only two children and that he is opposed to the notion of planning births. The Dasvi actor previously said that he found it annoying because people were so fixated on the couple’s progeny.

In an interview with GQ India 2010, shortly after getting married, Abhishek Bachchan said, “I’ll be happy with two kids.” Given that I had a sister, maybe that explains it. They seem to be God’s blessings, and everything should merely go according to plan. When it’s meant to be, you know. I disagree with the whole “Let’s plan it” or “We’re trying for a baby” mentality.

“I find that a bit weird,” he continued. That mental image of someone else is not something I desire. And I’ve finally come to the conclusion that I am that kind of person. In actuality, it is none of your concern. It annoys me greatly. Why would you want to know when I’m having kids when I really don’t want to know when other people are?

After being engaged in a small ceremony in January 2007, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had their traditional south Indian wedding in Mumbai in April 2007. Following their marriage, Abhishek and Aishwarya made an appearance together on The Oprah Winfrey Show, when he related the tale of his proposal to Aishwarya.

“I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that one day… ‘wouldn’t it be nice if I was together with her (Aishwarya), married?'” Abhishek allegedly said during the interview. The actor went on to say that he asked Aishwarya to be his life partner when they were on the same balcony, and she accepted.

They had collaborated on Kuch Naa Kaho after meeting on the sets of their love hit Dhai Akshar Prem Ke. It was said that the two fell in love with one another while shooting Dhoom 2. According to Abhishek, he had made up his mind to pop the question and was ready to go down on one knee when Mani Ratnam was shooting Guru.

Regarding their careers, Aishwarya most recently starred in Mani Ratnam’s April release of the historical action movie Ponniyin Selvan: II. However, Abhishek’s most recent appearance was in R Balki’s sports drama Ghoomer.
